Who we are
The Cambodian Women’s Caucus (CWC) is a network of more than 31
organizations and women activist to advance women's human rights by engaging with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and other regional organizations with the shared objectives to facilitate
shared learning and the empowerment of women advocates, and strives
to increasing participation of young women into the network, such
mechanism is one contribution in sustaining feminist movements and
diversifying civil society spaces thereby advancing the women’s
movements in Cambodia.
The
CWC network encourages collaboration with the mission to:
1. Strengthening
cooperation of CSOs and stakeholders to work together to protect and promote
women’ rights and children’s rights;
2. Facilitating
dialogues and collaboration with the government and other stakeholders at the
national, regional, and international levels;
3. Contributing
to sustained development, through the promotion of the drafting, implementing
and monitoring the implementation of CEDAW and CRC.
In order to advocate with other
institutions to promote and protect the rights of women and
children and to stop discrimination, and increase participation of women and children in
national and international events, and facilitate and coordinate with relevant organizations
